It's time for a different kind of fix.

Not another app.
A better environment.

Because lasting calm doesn't come from more content — it comes from changing the space you're in.

Nervous system first

We design for regulation, not distraction.

Science-backed

Rooted in neuroscience and psychology.

Environment over content

We change the space, not just the soundtrack.

Calm that lasts

Real shift. Real ease. Real life.

How it works

Synthetic Simulations

Real resonance, made by a real object.

Your relaxation shouldn't come from the same rectangle that ruins it.

Organic, living frequencies fill the space around you — not synthetic imitations coming through a speaker.

A new category

Welcome to humanity's first hands-free singing bowl.

Like a record player — but for singing bowls.

Real, continuous resonance, on demand: no app to open, no skill to learn, no one in the room to play it. We call it acoustic atmosphere hardware.

A real bowl and a steady hand, recreated in precision hardware — resonance that fills the room the moment you turn the dial.

The invention

Engineered to feel hand-played.

Not a speaker dressed up as a bowl. A real singing bowl, played by two coordinated motors tuned to move like a human hand.

The iOhm self-playing singing bowl — brass bowl on a hand-finished walnut base with a motorized mallet arm
1

Smart mallet

Motor-controlled torque pulses recreate the pressure of a human hand.

2

Belt-drive transmission

Smooth, near-silent rotation holds a steady, unwavering tone.

3

Dual-motor coordination

Platter and mallet move in concert — a living tone, never a scrape.

4

Single dial control

One knob — from a whisper to a full sound bath.

5

Hand-finished walnut base

CNC-cut solid wood, with adjustable legs that cradle any bowl.

The science

Science now confirms what the ancients have known for millennia.

For thousands of years, cultures all around the world have used sound to calm the mind and heal the body. Today, research in frequency, physiology, and neuroscience is helping us understand how sound, rhythm, and environment influence the way the body settles.

We're careful with claims. iOhm™ is made to support a calmer environment and a routine you can repeat — not to diagnose, treat, or cure anything. We share what's well-supported today, and we're studying the rest.

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.

Our story

It started with insomnia.

iOhm™ wasn't created in a boardroom.
It arose out of a need to cure sleepless nights.

Perry, founder of iOhm

I've struggled with consistent good sleep my entire adult life. The one thing I found helped more than anything was meditation music I'd play on my phone — and one night I realized it was the singing bowls in particular. Their beautiful pulsing resonance almost seemed to hypnotize me into sleep.

I remember thinking how incredible it would be to hire someone to sit and play a singing bowl beside my bed all night. Of course, no one does that… So I went looking for the next best thing: an automatic singing bowl player. I searched Amazon. I searched the whole internet. It didn't exist.

So I decided to build it. Initially I met with a few design firms, but as a musician and meditation teacher the budgets were far out of reach — which left exactly one option: make it myself. Over the better part of a year I taught myself Fusion 360, modeled the entire mechanism, 3D-printed the parts, and CNC-cut the base in a local workshop where I live in Thailand.

Then I started showing it to all the incredible people here on this island — sound healers, meditators, breathwork facilitators, yogis, tech founders, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads of every kind. And without exception, each one responded with the same curiosity, enthusiasm, and fascination. The question that kept coming up was, “Why doesn't this exist yet??”

That's when I knew this wasn't only my problem to solve. It was a shared global need for deeper calm, relaxation, and better sleep — but without having to go through the same screen that robs us of those things in the first place.

It's been a long journey, and it's only just beginning… But I'm very proud to announce my partnership with some very reputable suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors. And I'm very excited to finally be offering this gift to the world, in hopes that it helps others the same way it's helped me.

It's time to raise humanity's frequency one singing bowl at a time. I hope you'll play a part :)

Questions

Good questions, honest answers.

A speaker plays back a recording. iOhm™ physically strikes and sustains a real singing bowl, so what fills the room is genuine acoustic resonance — sound you can feel in the space, not a file played through a cone.
No. The belt-drive transmission and closed-loop motors are engineered to run near-silent — the idea is that you hear the bowl, never the machine underneath it.
None of the above. One dial sets everything, from a barely-there whisper to a full sound bath. No phone, no learning curve, no sound healer required.
Yes. The adjustable legs accommodate a wide range of bowl sizes, and each unit is tuned by ear to the bowl it ships with so the tone lands the way a skilled hand would play it.
Zenby is parent-controlled, volume-limited, and designed to sit safely away from the crib with no loose small parts. It's made to support a calmer sleep environment and routine — not as a medical device or a replacement for safe-sleep practices.
Reserving now takes no payment — it simply holds your place in the first hand-tuned run. We're launching globally on Kickstarter in the next 3–6 months, and early reservations get founding pricing.
